I am an analyst at Factworks in Berlin developing, implementing, and testing new statistical methods for quantitative social scientists.
My work centers around regularized structural equation models, which have become very popular in psychological research. They allow the fitting of larger models than previously to gain new insights into complex psychological processes. To make (regularized) structural equation models easily available, I have developed several open source R and C++ packages.
During my PhD, I was supported by the International Max Planck Research School on the Life Course.
